A Uganda Visa is given by the Ugandan government to foreigners so they can enter the country for tourism, business, visiting family or medical treatment. The most popular tourist visa is the single-entry one which gives you 90 days to use and must be used within 90 days after approval. Those traveling to Uganda can apply online using the Uganda Immigration Portal and a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required for entry.

What is a Uganda Tourist Visa?

The Uganda Tourist Visa is a document issued by the government to let foreigners come to Uganda for tourism, medical reasons, to see family or take part in cultural activities. Usually, this type of visa is issued for a 3-month stay starting from the date you enter the country. The visa is valid just for one trip and does not give you permission to return after leaving the country. If you do not use your visa within 90 days after it is approved, you must apply for a new one.
