- Day 1: Arrival CochinOn arrival in Cochin, meet our representative and you would be transferred to your hotel. Have a freshen up and then go out on half-day Kochi sightseeing. Pay a visit to Fort Kochi and Mattancherry Island comprising of Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace or Dutch Palace, Famous Chinese Fishing nets, St. Francis church and local spices market and later enjoy colorful performing art – Kathakali Dance. Back to the hotel.stay overnight at Cochin. (Meal- NA)
- Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (120 kms /approx. 4 hr. one-way)After breakfast, proceed to Munnar. Munnar is a tea plantation area and also a well known Hill station in the plantation highlands of Kerala which provides its guests an experience of the misty climate and a leisurely stay amidst the tea plantations. On Arrival check in and have a rest day.Overnight at Munnar. (Meal-Breakfast)
- Day 3: MunnarPost breakfast visit Eravikulam National Park, which harbours several elusive and endangered species. One can have an awesome trekking experience here and the views of the tea plantations are mind blowing. Later, walk towards Tea Museum (closed on Monday), that provides an insight into the history of tea plantations ofthis region. Visit Flower Garden and Eco Point later. Evening visit the local market to do shopping and Back to the hotel.Stay over night in Munnar. (Meal- Breakfast)
- Day 4: Munnar -Thekkady (100 kms / approx. 3 hrs.)After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady (Periyar) Post check-in enjoy sightseeing tour of Periyar. The Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is located high in the ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary boasts of a beautiful lake in the middle of the sanctuary. The wild elephants come in herds to frolic in the water of Periyar Lake. One may observe them bathing and swimming here. Take a boat ride on the lake to see the wildlife up close and back to the hotelstay over in Thekkady. (Meal- Breakfast)
- Day 5: Thekkady – Kumarakom (120 kms / approx. 3.5 hrs.)Have breakfast and then visit a spice plantation. The fragrance and the nice atmosphere of the spice and tea plantations of Periyar is interesting. Thekkady has spices such as pepper, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric, vanilla and curry leaves. Check out and head down to Kumarakom – a beautiful emerald peninsula protruding into the beautiful Vembanad Lake with countless numbers of traditional country rafts, boats and canoes. The lake water is fresh and it runs into the mainland,creating a maze of lagoons, canals and waterways. On arrival check-in and have a relaxed Day.Stay over at Kumarakom. (Meal- Breakfast)
- Day 6: Kumarakom – Alleppey (33 kms / approx. 1 Hours)After breakfast, you will be driven to Alleppey where you will embark on your houseboat. Alleppey known as the Venice of the East has an extensive backwater canal system that flows through the town, encircling villages and the Vembanad Lake. Houseboat in Kerela backwaters is a cruise through beautiful and scenic backwaters of Kerela.Houseboat stay. (Meal- Breakfast)
- Day 7: Alleppey – Kovalam (180 kms / approx. 4 Hours)After breakfast, Disembark houseboat cruise and drive to the south of Kerala, Kovalam- an international famous palm-fringed beaches and rejuvenating centers, it is situated near the state capital Trivandrum. The arrival of hippies in the 1970s put the place on the tourist map and today it is famous due to its 17 km long coastlines, which is comprised of three beautiful beaches – Lighthouse, Hawah and Samudra. On arrival, meet and check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.Stay Stay Overnight at Kovalam.(Meal- Breakfast)
- Day 8: Kovalam & Trivandrum SightseeingPost breakfast; visit some of the attractions of Kovalam- lighthouse and the beach area. Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Trivandrum and post that. Go to the Napier Museum, which was constructed during the 19 th century. This Indo – Saracenic building is equipped with the system of natural air-conditioning, and it contains the unique collection of archaeological and historic objects… bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. The Shree Chitra Kala Art Gallery, close to the Museum, exhibits some of the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, Svetlova and Nicholas Roerich and some exquisite works of the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools of Art. See the Kuthiramalika Palace, the construction of which was started by the King of Travancore.
