Nepal visa for UAE Residents

A Nepal visa is used by foreigners to enter the country, remain there and travel within it for tourism, business, study or some other reason. Visitors from the UAE who wish to enter Nepal need to apply for a visa at the Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi using the online system and providing the required documents and fee. The tourist visa gives you 15, 30 or 90 days in the country, with the option to enter multiple times, but citizens of some countries need to apply for the visa at the embassy before traveling.

What is a Nepal Tourist Visa?

A Nepal tourist visa permits foreigners to come to Nepal for tourism such as sightseeing, trekking, exploring culture or meeting friends and family. The Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi makes it easy for UAE residents to get a tourist visa for Nepal. If your stay in China is short or long, you can choose a 15, 30 or 90-day multiple-entry visa.

Tourist visas in Nepal are available for various durations and with different numbers of allowed entries. Most UAE residents use these tourist visa types most often.

  • 15 Days Multiple Entry Tourist Visa – AED 110
  • 30 Days Multiple Entry Tourist Visa – Dh190
  • 90 Days Multiple Entry Tourist Visa – AED 460

Applicants must pay all fees in cash when they apply.

If you want to get a Nepal tourist visa from Dubai or any other place in the UAE, you must go to the Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi in person. Does this as you go

  • Use the online visa application system at https://nepaliport.immigration.gov.np/onlinevisa-mission/application
  • Print out the application form after you finish filling it out online.
  • Go to the Embassy with all the necessary papers and the visa fee.
  • You can apply between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Come to the embassy between 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm to pick up your visa.

A representative may assist by applying for a group or family, but they cannot sign the paperwork for anyone else.

When applying for a Nepal visa, UAE residents need to meet the following conditions:

  • A passport that is valid for at least 6 more months and has one empty visa page
  • A copy of the UAE residence visa.
  • A printed application form for an online visa.
  • An employer or sponsor must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  • A copy of the sponsor’s passport and the UAE visa page (if the sponsor is a person)
  • Supporting documents (if any)
  • Applicable visa fee in cash

Here’s a checklist of documents required to apply for a Nepal tourist visa from the UAE:

  • Completed online visa application form (printed copy)
  • Original passport and photocopy
  • UAE residence visa copy
  • NOC letter from employer or sponsor (mentioning name, nationality, job title, salary)
  • Sponsor’s passport and visa copy (for personal sponsors)
  • Any additional supporting documents
  • Visa fee in AED (cash only)

Citizens of the following countries must apply through the Embassy in advance and are not eligible for visa-on-arrival:

  • Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, and Refugees with travel documents.
